Both shots are straight out of the camera.

I think this will be the last of my Rose of Sharon blooms for this summer. The little fawns nibbled off quite a few buds; but I've enjoyed both the deer and the blooms that made it!
And for those of you still waiting - at least one baby pic tomorrow - I'm still working in veggies!

Oh, gorgeous Rose of Sharon - such a pure white colour! Do you freeze and can your extra veggies?
ReplyDeleteBoth lovely. Flowers were sparce here this year...and of course my "garden" just grows wild with no love and care at all, poor neglected yard.

I LOVE white flowers, they always remind me of crisp white sheets for some reason!! You call them Rose of Sharon, while we call them Hollyhocks. Beautiful macro!
ReplyDeleteOkay! So that's what that plant is called! I took several photos of two of these, at separate locations. On Sunday, I think it was. One had a perfect monarch butterfly sucking its nectar and I photographed it. That'll be for Camera Critters on Saturday!
ReplyDeleteI have to get one of these Rose of Sharron bushes for my garden! Lovely!
