Great post...I remember my Grandfather and I planting Willow's up and down his entire land into their house. They were just beautiful :)

ReplyDeleteI think it's one of my favourite trees the weeping willow. Probably because she stands out, when Spring arrives.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo, would love to have that house by the river. Rented a cabin for the weekend once by one and it was one of the nicest experiences. I enjoyed the lyrics also, great addition to your post.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Weeping Willows always remind me of childhood visits to Ohio and boating on the Huron River where many willows grew along the water's edge in people's yards. Thanks for taking me back in time.
ReplyDeleteNeat post. I love weeping willows, my grandma had a huge one in the middle of her front yard. Many fond memories of it. (The supple branches made good switches, too, but she never used them on me)
