Mellow Yellow Forsythia

These are a couple of shots of a small forsythia branch that I pinched off of the bush and brought inside and stuck down in a cup of water. That's all I did. About a week later - blooms.
Guess you could say I made spring come to me!

  31. Today as I was driving around looking for spring flower photo ops I was thinking of your post (at your other blog) of forcing the Forsythia. We have a hint of the color showing on the Forsythias, but not much. Great idea to bring it to you.
