These are a couple of shots of a small forsythia branch that I pinched off of the bush and brought inside and stuck down in a cup of water. That's all I did. About a week later - blooms.
Guess you could say I made spring come to me!

Forsythia is so beautiful. One of my favorites. It's the first thing I plant, wherever I live.

ReplyDeleteIt's always like a peaceful retreat to come here. Beautiful flowers. It's gray and gloomy here today and raining, but there are LARGE wonderful patches of grass showing. Spring is on the way!

Today as I was driving around looking for spring flower photo ops I was thinking of your post (at your other blog) of forcing the Forsythia. We have a hint of the color showing on the Forsythias, but not much. Great idea to bring it to you.
