Through My Window
Skywatch: Spider In The Sky




The first two images were taken last Friday as I was perusing Sky Watch entries. They were taken out my sunroom window. It is a view I enjoy every day through good weather and bad. Sitting at my computer a couple of days later I could hear the unmistakable sound of aircraft and grabbed my camera. I was just in time to step out on my deck and snap a quick picture of the 'spider in the sky' as it flew over.

    I can imagine you sat there at your PC trying to get as many visits inas possible... but it gets harder each week with the numbers we now get... glad to see you have your camera handy.. my is at my side right now... 'just in case'.

    You have a very pretty view from you window. I guess I do also but it seems like it's better for me to step outside the door.
    Sometime I will post what little pictures we took last year in West Virginia. It was the last state for me to visit to make all 50.
    I wasn't trying the other times when I could have swung over. It is a very pretty state, it surpised me. If I had seen a coal mine I would not have been surprised.

    If you tilt your head sideways and squint just a bit, that cloud in the bottom picture looks a little like a helicopter, doesn't it?

    Great capture of the chopper... I always try to keep my camera by my side as well... the top two photos are lovely as well... you take fine photos!

    Beautiful skies. ivar ivrig had the same thought I did - that that helicopter looks like a spider. I do love your views... whether from your house or when you go on the road. Always a delight for the eye.
