A Surprise Guest

In my part of the world it is almost fall and I had been wondering what I was going to post. Then, this week my White Iris decided it was time to put forth some more color.
Today's Flowers is hosted by Luiz Santilli, Jr. Clicking on the logo at the top of my post will take you to a bouquet of color from around the world. Enjoy.

  1. Lovely photos of white. I like the bits of yellow in the second; is that coreopsis? Or another yellow flower? Wonderful to see the curled up iris.

  3. Hi, Carletta! I've been here before because I recognized your captions and picture. So glad I returned after you left that kind comment on my blog.
Your white iris and its little guest are such beautiful pictures. Thanks so much for sharing them. And your music is lovely, too.

  22. That silky iris looks so pure and undefiled... except of course for the stink bug. Aw, gee. Can you imagine the stigma that follows a critter around, simply on account of that name? Stink bug. I almost feel sorry for it. Anyway, the flowers are heavenly!
